Metro & LRT

Parkeon has delivered automatic fare collection solutions for metro and light rail networks in over 25 cities across Europe.

From RATP (Paris) to STIB (Brussels); from Le Mans (France) to Docklands Light Railway (London), Parkeon offers mass transit operators a wide range of TVMs that fulfil passenger and operator requirements, are easy to use, reliable in operation and easy to maintain.

This experience continues to drive technology – the latest TVM unit for RATP caters for every payment method and all types of fare media (including magnetic and contact-less cards and  tickets), issues period or journey-based smartcards and incorporates an interface for visually impaired passengers.

In just 4 years, Parkeon became a key partner of STIB, the Brussels transport operator. Following the successful introduction of TVMs for the metro system, Parkeon has provided support for numerous automatic fare collection projects.

This includes TVMs for Tramway, magnetic ticket printers for ticket offices, thousands of contact-less validators, conversion of fare collection terminals to contact-less technology and on-going support through field maintenance operations. Parkeon has helped STIB to improve productivity and client satisfaction by delivering reliable and proven solutions and ensuring up to 99% availability of automatic fare collection equipment across the network.
