Enforcement of a Park-by-ID System

Parkeon's Park-by-ID system takes advantage of its real-time transaction tracking to allow enforcement to be ultra efficient. Transaction data can be called upon at a moments notice to determine if a car is in violation.

Pay-by-Space Enforcement

When enforcing a Pay-by-Space system, your Parking Enforcement Officer utilizes wireless handheld devices (typically a PDA or a smart phone) to view paid and unpaid spaces. On his handheld, the PEO can review the spaces' status in several ways - all at once, only the paid ones, or only the unpaid ones. Space status is shown via color-coded marks. It's easy to i.d. violations. A space status report can also be printed at the meter to for enforcement purposes.

Pay-by-Plate Enforcement

A major advantage of a Pay-by-Plate parking mode is how quickly and efficiently you can enforce. The use of License Plate Recognition technology helps tremendously as a camera system mounted inside your enforcement vehicle scans license plates as you drive and queries the myParkfolio back-office parking management system to confirm payment. If the system indicates that the vehicle is in violation, your enforcement officer is notified and a citation can be written. Enforcement can also be done by inputting license plate numbers into a wireless handheld device to check against a paid list of license plates.
