With 30 years of experience in designing transport and parking ticketing systems, Parkeon has developed a wide range of skills in database, network and communications management, server sizing and third party system interfacing. 

Multi-modal, multi-operator, interoperable

TransFolio  has been designed as an integrated tool for multi-operator environments and is a solution for multi-modal schemes. Thanks to scalable, N-level architecture, TransFolio meets such technical and functional requirements.

According to inter-operability rules, the system distributes data access rights to operations, gives access to complex sales, and allows topographic and fare data sharing between servers.

TransFolio ensures ticketing system management for all types of fare schemes and ticket technologies: paper-based, magnetic and electronic. This open system can interface with shared ticketing servers, accounting systems, statistical servers and outsourced computing systems.

Customisable

TransFolio fits specific, functional customer requirements in order to match differing and complex transport projects. The SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based system is an adaptable and flexible multi-tasking, multi-service architecture.

The N-level architecture includes a light client GUI (Graphical User Interface) that only needs simple Web browser access. This GUI gives the benefit of a high customisation capability, enhanced by the possibility to use Portlets as direct views on the dashboard.

The communication server is based on ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) technology that is a simple integration of new services and equipment, independent of communication or transport protocols.

Simple and ergonomic

Part of our core competencies, Parkeon pays special attention to user friendliness (ease of use, near to business), operator friendliness (ease of maintenance, monitoring and back up solutions).

The GUI is customisable and flexible, providing visual tools, graphical indicators, search criteria, and business links between the different modules.

TransFolio also makes available statistical tools, thanks to ETL (Extraction Transform and Loading) data extractions and Business Objects reporting.

Meeting customer needs, TransFolio supports the installed base and its evolution. It is based on recognised standards, which are constantly evolving, meaning customers will always benefit from leading technological developments.

Parkeon controls all aspects of the TransFolio concept. All software changes are automatically tested with using the Concordion tool suite, in line with Parkeon business skills.
