On July 1st in Paris, the results were announced for the Digital Innovation Awards, for which almost 400 cutting edge ideas were competing. In the “DATA” category, Parkeon was awarded the Silver ID for its mobile application called “Path to Park”.

This new distinction once again gives recognition to a tool developed for the benefit of urban motorists so that we can all appreciate our experience of “city living” even more.

“We are very pleased that Parkeon’s innovation has been recognised and rewarded” commented Yves-Marie Pondaven, CTO at Parkeon. “Parkeon has been innovative in the parking solutions sector for more than 50 years and is still leading the way today. We are also very proud to have concluded this project with three French start-ups, which therefore contributes to the development of expertise throughout France“.

After the “Ile de France” area at the beginning of 2015, “Path to Park” is continuing to develop. In France, the application makes it possible to locate on-street parking spaces in new towns and cities. Besides Paris, we have added Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseilles and Versailles!
This development is also being witnessed at an international level as Path to Park is now available in the first two cities of the US: Fort Worth and Las Vegas.
Many other towns and cities are making preparations for its introduction too!
